Surf City sits at the geographic center of Long Beach Island, just north of Ship Bottom — an equidistant 10-mile drive to either end of LBI. Compact, walkable and busy year-round, Surf City has carved out an identity as the island's most concentrated downtown experience outside of Beach Haven.

Ocean blocks command the premium, but Surf City still offers more attainable price points than Beach Haven or Long Beach Township, with bay-side homes occasionally listing under $1M.
The year-round community here is notably tighter than other LBI boroughs. Walkable scale, the boulevard's everyday foot traffic and a critical mass of small businesses keep Surf City feeling like a true town rather than a seasonal stop.
